Mercy Vision Ministries is a registered Ugandan charity that started in 2014. They care for orphaned and at risk children in Kampala and Kiyuni, Mubende. They run a children’s home, St Henry’s Blue Junior School and the Be Still Medical Facility. The job was to build a site that tells their story with heart and makes giving simple and safe. We wrote the website copy and kept it warm and honest, so a donor can see exactly where their money goes. We built a custom donation and payment system. People can give once, sponsor a named child, or back a project, and each campaign shows a live progress bar as funds come in. We also added volunteer and partner sign up, a photo gallery, stories from donors and families, and a blog. The site was built with WordPress, Elementor, Elementor Pro and custom CSS. It is fast, mobile friendly and works on all devices.
